Sandy’s is the silky voice you hear on Smoothjazz.com Global
Radio. The Internet media outlet is her vision and was created out of
frustration while going in and out of employment with ‘terrestrial’ radio.
The
popular radio celebrity has been heard up and down the California Coast during
the 80’s and through the 90’s working for nearly a dozen radio stations
including the prestigious Smooth Jazz outlets, KTWV The Wave in Los Angeles and
KKSF in San Francisco.
Sandy takes a hands-on approach with Smoothjazz.com,
answering hundreds of fan email personally from listeners all over the world.
In addition to working intimately with the music and programming of
Smoothjazz.com Radio, Sandy also works closely with artists and labels to
promote new and undiscovered music.
Sandy loves living on the Monterey Peninsula in Northern
California and steals days whenever possible to enjoy the natural beauty of the
area; from sun drenched Santa Cruz to tranquil Big Sur. According to Sandy, “To
live in the Monterey Bay area is to live life fully. ” Sandy is currently in
production creating the first Girl's Music Internet Station: GoGirl.net to
debut in 2007 and just finished launching a sister station to SmoothJazz.com
called SmoothLounge.com
:
For the Chill of It.

Radio personality and concert promoter, Sandy Shore, founded
Smoothjazz.com in 1995. Originally, the on-line destination was used as a
ticket outlet for Sandy Shore Productions’ locally produced concert events.
However, by the late 1990’s the Website had been transformed into a global
presence by Co-Founder Donna K. Phillips for Smooth Jazz offering exciting
information for both artists and fans alike and making SmoothJazz.com the FIRST
Woman owned + operated Internet Radio Station in the World.
By the turn of the century, SmoothJazz.com Global Radio
began broadcasting in digital stereo through the services of Shoutcast.com.
Sister station SmoothLounge.com Global Radio was brought online to bring the
Chillout Ambient vibe growing in Europe to the global audience.
Around the same time, the Smoothjazz.com Top 50 Chart
publication debuted, designed for music industry professionals and participated
in by nearly 70 reporting radio stations. The Chart is published weekly some
fifty times a year displaying the current most played Smooth Jazz albums in the

as the SmoothJazz.com Radar Chart to help new projects get an indication of how
their album is doing right out of the gate.
